Holiday season alert
Last Updated: 22/07/2020 01:40 PM
During the
summer holiday season, the congestion at the airport (check-in counters and
security check) and surrounding roads and public transportation is expected. In
addition, from the viewpoint of preventing COVID-19 infection, the airport
takes measures such as securing temperature testing and social distance, and
the procedure takes longer than usual. Therefore, please come to the airport
with plenty of time (up to 1 hour and 30 minutes before departure).
Jetstar domestic check-in begins 2 hours before departure
(3 hours for KIOSK). Online check-in is
available from 7 days prior to departure date until 35 minutes prior to
departure. If you do not have baggage
to check in, you can go directly through the security check and come to the
boarding gate without stopping at the counter.
Check
in counter and baggage drop is closed 30 minutes before departure time. If you
do not check in before the closed time, you won’t be able to board your flight
and you may lose your fare in full. Also, if you check any baggage, please
pre-purchase baggage allowance to avoid congestion at check in counter.
We recommend
arriving at the airport early to allow enough time to make your way through the
airport, taking into consideration clearing airport security.
Thank you
for your cooperation for the on-time departure.
